Multiax featured their new standard M and B series CNC routers, designed to combat the most arduous demands faced by furniture manufacturers today.
The M series are high speed, high precision machines and feature a heavy-duty construction, oversized, to deliver long-life reliability and consistent high precision.

B series compliment the range, providing the ultimate in heavy duty manufacturing, most suitable for large capacity production systems.

Available with either parallel or the Multiax standard high speed automatic tool changing spindles including with 8 or 16 tool positions as standard, the Multiax features high speed traversing at 60 m/min, reliable and class-leading chip-to-chip tool change times, and high power AC Servo Spindles.

The machines are totally designed for produetion efficiency, flexibility, simple operation and easy, simple maintenance. Oriline service is now available via a simple Modem enabling Multiax to see inside the machine's controller in real time. Other unique features include instant vacuum clamping to minimise the cycle time.

Adjustable height ATC spindles are standard and options include Adjustable Z System, which introduces a separate Z axis servo for each spindle, to reduce setting tirnes and tool change times. This can be upgraded to the Digital Floating System, which perfectly enables the cutter to remain at a constant depth, relative to the upper surface of the panel - ideal for routing softformed door panels with large profile tools.

Furthermore, working clampmg systems bave been developed including the Multiax patented Parallel Quadrilateral Table with its unique system of automatic vacuum pods, specially stuited to cabinet doors, totally eliminating fixtures; or even the Universal Profile Table similar to the PQT above, except with individually programmable pods and alignment stoppers, ideal for clamping any shaped panels such as desk tops, work tops, round or oval tables.
