Ready To Assemble

Ready To Assemble furniture components or cabinetry are often nested and machined out of full boards for optimum yield and process time.
In addition to cutting-to-size, many CNC Routing and Boring operations may also be accomplished efficiently in this way.
Routing a variety of doors directly from large sheets , or slotting and grooving backs and sides of cabinets, are popular processing methods for many manufacturers.

Beyond these, nesting can also be suitable for many other applications including shaped MDF or particle board chair components, bespoke cabinets shelves for boutiques, office desks, counter displays, wall units, racks, mobile homes, and for producing bespoke contract furniture for ships, hotels, hospitals and public buildings in general.

Nesting is ideally employed together with fixture-less techniques, to effectively eliminate machine setting time.
A variety of methods are avialable to suit the requirements of specific applications, including the use of Slave Boards, Pressure Rollers, and even self selecting NC controlled Vacuum Pods, such as the unique Multiax OFT/PQT systems.
