MULTIAX NEW FIVE AXIS UNIT

The test of the new five axis head completely engineered by Multiax R&D staff.
The first reports are better than expected and this project will be useful for the increasing request for 3D machinig (expecially in the Plastic Industry) or just to replace the out-to-date aggregates. In fact, the E5, C5, F and T Series will equipped with this head, along with other units.

Sales Manager for North America

Multiax America of Grand Rapids, Mich., has named Bob Dykstra as Sales Manager for North America. Dykstra comes to Multiax with over 30 years of experience in woodworking machinery.

 

CLAMPING SYSTEM

Multiax says its Programmable Quadrilateral Table (PQT), a Challanger Award entrant, features: automatic, in cycle set-up for rectangles of any size; different diameter reference stops to keep part hoverhangs to a minimum; special software that allows for automatic programming of pods and reference stops; a simple system that requires only one electro valve for each column of vacuum pods; pods as small as 30 mm. squares on 30 mm inter axes centers; and lifting height in Z can be 10, 15 or 20 mm, depending on requirements.
